Student Leadership – SRC
Our Student Representative Council (SRC) are student leaders who are selected by their peers to represent the student body at Lowanna College. The SRC organise a range of student led events throughout the year, including lunchtime games/sports, fundraisers, BBQ’s and more! Some recent events have included the World’s Greatest Shave, Footy Colours Day, BBQ lunches, the Easter Raffle, the Speed Ball Competition and a Mario Kart Competition. A number of these events helped to raise funds for important charities. In 2024, the SRC facilitated the below events and we are proud to have raised important funds for the below charities;
MND Australia (Footy Colours Day) – $446.80
Beyond Blue (Easter Raffle)- $481.08
Leukaemia Foundation (World’s Greatest Shave)– $7,679
Our SRC students also have the opportunity to attend leadership conferences throughout the year.
